About the presenter

Andy Cook has over 20 years’ experience of working in Employee and Industrial Relations, both in the UK and Internationally. He worked as a full-time union officer in the 90’s before then embarking on a career in HR; holding senior HR positions in large, complex and challenging organisations. All roles involved a large amount of Employee and Industrial Relations.

He has delivered workshops to many hundreds of line managers, HR Professionals and Employee Representatives. His style is always to encourage participation, is very interactive and is based on many years of practical experience.

What previous attendees say

I attended a Marshall-James Workshop which helped me in my day to day role of working with the Unions in my work place. We always muddled along and relationships were ok, but the workshop got me to think about the different ways of working and gave me confidence to take the lead where I needed to.
David P – Global Logistics Company.

The style and content of the workshop was just right. Andy was really good with sharing insights and experience as well as giving us a lot of tips and techniques, which I found immediately  for us to use as soon as we got back to work. Another benefit was meeting people from other organisations who were also on the workshop. We got to share experiences with each other, which really helped.
