Meet the Team
Andy founded Marshall-James in 2006 to work with Employers in all areas of Employee Relations, Labour/Industrial Relations and Employee Engagement. His expertise in these areas was gained firstly as a Union Officer for 5 years and then as an HR Director in large, diverse organisations where Employee Relations, Employee Communications and Industrial Relations were a key part of the job.
Director of Executive Resourcing
Chris is an experienced HR Director with strong generalist skills built on senior roles in the financial services sector and augmented through his work across various sectors since 2007. An adaptable practitioner with a deep understanding of what drives organisational performance, his breadth of experience enables him to deliver complex programmes of change, while his strong focus on managing risk and specialism of gaining acceptance through workforce communication and engagement strategies ensure success.
A commercially oriented HR specialist with extensive experience in union relations and change management, Roger has worked as a Senior Advisor with Marshall-James since 2010. His expertise and commercial insight have proved invaluable in helping clients plan and deploy constructive employee relations strategies, particularly around the area of building and improving relationships with union representatives in order to drive change.
Senior Advisor, Investigations
Dave heads up our Grievance and Disciplinary investigations practice and is actively involved in working with clients in areas such as policies, procedures and creating the right environment for change.
Dave has over 20 yrs experience of working at senior level within large, complex organisations. He has comprehensive experience of both Employee and Industrial Relations, together with communications and Employment Law. He contributes to a major employment law website and continues his professional development in HR.
Since working with Marshall-James, Dave has undertaken a number of major grievance and disciplinary investigations in diverse employers, including retail, local government, NHS, Housing and manufacturing. He has also conducted a number of employment policy reviews and implemented detailed changes across the employment framework for a number of clients.
